Hello everyone! The most wonderful time of the year is right around the corner and don’t you want to record some of the precious little memories from this time? I love the December Daily project and even though I don’t record it daily, I still get some memories on the pages of my album, whether they are from this year or from previous years.

No matter what size, shape or stye of your album – make it easy by preplanning. I got my base pages in and selected a bunch of product like stickers, 3×4 cards and stamps in a seperate container to have it ready when I sit down to work on my album. Here’s an example of an easy and very convenient option. I precut 12 to 15 pages, fold them in half (to make these pages more sturdy) and either close them shut with glue, or have the page that opens up for more photos. By having these pages ready to go, it will take very little effort to print a picture, write a story and document one of the simple moments.

I like to start early, by writing a few thoughts before December comes. For my opening page, I used the Envelope Metal Die Set to create this pocket and added a little tag with journaling to the pocket. I loved this pocket idea and will definitely use it again and again in my December Daily album.

I felt inspired and decided to decorate a few pages. All I would have to do on these days is add photos. If the amount of photos won’t work for this particular day, I can move things aroung. That’s one of the reasons I like album with rings.

I am loving the colors in the November Hip Kit so much! Everyone knows that photos during winter may not be of the best quality, due to short days and low light. In this case I can always print my photos black and white and still have the album look bright and happy because of the colors of the papers I used.
Are making December Daily album this year? I highly recommend turning the November kit into a DD album! Remeber that keeping it simple and having base pages ready ahead of time – makes documenting possible during the busy holiday time. Thank you for visiting HKC blog! Until next time!
