Hello, memory keeping friends! Anya’s here today and I am so excited to share new page spreads I created for my Summer 2024 album! I wanted to do a “December Daily” type of album for our summer memories for so long and HKC kits have totally inspired me! All of these pages are approximately 8.25 x 4.5″. Yours may differ depending on the album size you are using. I have also made the cover page and would like to start with it. The “summer” word came from a 4×6 PL card, which I fussy cut and divided it into two parts, to fit it nicely on this page size.

Need journaling supplies? Our monthly kits include papers, ephemera, and embellishments that are perfect for junk journals and memory keeping.
Ever since I tried a smaller format for my pages, it has been a blast! I love that you can create a layout in 15-20 minutes, and one Hip Kit is enough to make so many layouts! To create the first page spread, I used awesome July Hip Kit and the starting point for it was the foam title. Left side of this page spread is very simple. To create right side, I printed the jornaling first, added the title and arranged a layered cluster on one of the PL cards at the bottom of the layout.

Second page spread was also made with the same Hip Kit, but it looks completely different, because I used a different color scheme. I love that HKC provides such awesome variety of colors and patterns in each kit. I loved the patterned paper with circles and it was my starting point for this page spread. I gathered a bunch of circles, including die cuts, fussy cut pieces, chipboard, and photos and arranged them on the left side of this page spread. Right side includes a photo, journaling printed on a larger lable, another cluster and a foam sticker title.

Next page was made from a June kit and it recorded our stop on the way to FL. I love using stamps but I tend to forget, so the starting point for this layout was actually the Stamp Set. I love how you may add a little extra journaling anywhere on the page and HKC stamps always has the most useful icons and phrases!

My last page spread for today was also made using June Hip Kit and my goal here was to incorporate some gorgeous vellum flowers on a beach layout. Also, I remembered and did add a special touch with stamps on this layout as well. Since this layout had a bit more journaling, I added more details to the title, to give a break between words anf photos.

I must confess, I enjoyed making these layouts so much, that I have three more to share next time. I have used the August Kit for those and can’t wait to be back with more ideas and inspiration. Thank you for visiting HKC Blog and make sure to stop by again soon!
XOXO
