Let’s Create with Stamps and Dies

Hi everyone, Anke here with a new layout inspiration for Hip Kit Club featuring the December 2023 Hip Kits. I focused on our exclusive stamps and dies and created a layout with snowflake die cuts and embossed stars using the “December 2023 Star Texture Clear Stamp”, which is included in the December Color Kit and the “December 2022 Layered Snowflakes Metal Die Set”.

 

 

First I stamped and embossed stars. I used the “Star Texture” stamp and embossing ink and stamped on vellum. Then I applied the “Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder”, which is also included in the December Color Kit, and melted it with a heat tool. I cut the stars out and put them aside to use them later for embellishing the layout.

 

 

Then I cut strips from the “Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Cozy Adventures – Colorful Dreams” and “Party Time” papers. The strips are 8 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. I arranged the paper strips on my page and added my photo.

 

 

I set eyelets and added pieces of twine in matching colors.

 

 

I wanted to add more texture so I stitched along the lines of the pattern on the pink tag and I also stitched the stars on the blue tag.

 

 

Then I cut snowflakes from white cardstock using the “December 2022 Layered Snowflakes Metal Die Set” and arranged them on my page.  I adhered the large snowflakes, the paper strips and finally the small snowflakes.

 

 

I added some puffy stickers from the “Cozy Adventures – Mini Puffy Shape Stickers” pack, which is included in the December Embellishment Kit.

 

 

For my title I chose a word die cut from the “Cozy Adventures – Cardstock Ephemera” pack, which you can find  in the December Main Kit. Then I added another puffy sticker,  more die cuts from the “Cozy Adventures Cardstock Ephemera” pack and one of the “Cozy Adventures – Cardstock & Foam Phrase Stickers”, which are als0 included in the December Main Kit.

 

 

I continued embellishing the layout with my embossed stars and finally I added some of the “Adhesive Pearl Stickers”, which you can find in the December Embellishment Kit.
