LET’S MAKE CHRISTMAS CARDS | ANYA LUNCHENKO | NOVEMBER 2023 HIP KITS

Hello paper crafting friends! With only five days left until Christmas you may not have much time for any big projects, but you can surely find some time to create a few handmade cards! I am not sharing a lot of tips or techniques today, just inspiration! Christmas cards are by far my favorite cards to create and today I have five cards to share with you. Let’s go ahead and take a closer look at each one of them.

November Kit had endless supply of embellishments to use! I grabbed everything the Kit had to offer and used whatever inspired me at the moment. To save some crafting time while making cards in bulk, I suggest getting all the card bases ready and create a few cards at a time. If an embellishment that you like doesn’t exactly fit on one card, chances are it may fit perfectly on the other. Don’t plan anything in advance, just go with the flow – that’s my favorite way for creating cards.

First card started with a row of trees die cut piece and and a NOEL foam sticker. I knew I wanted it at the bottom of the card. The rest of the design on this card came together pretty quickly…

For my second card, I kind of had a vision of cascading ornaments and wooden buttons. In this case a card comes even quicker. I love adding elements to my cards with foam tape, especially when flat embellishments are mixed with bulky ones. Popped up ornaments worked out perfectly with adorable wooden buttons!

My staring point for this card was the blue ruffled ribbon. I wanted a part of it show at the bottom of a card, therefore top of the card had all of the decorations. A die cut tag was a perfect base to hold the decorations here…

I knew I will be using the FALALA chipboard piece on one of the cards. Because of its size, I had to adhere it vertically and I’m really happy with the way this card turned out. The adorable snowmen will put a smile on anyone’s face!

Since I loved using an oversized sentiment on a previous card, this cards starting point was another large title. The whole card design was based on a delicate die cut background, which let me use some of the strips as a pocket for a tag.

And this makes five bright and happy cards to give out this season! Thank you so much for visiting Hip Kit Club blog and make sure to stop by again soon for more inspiration!

XOXO
