Let’s Stamp and Stitch

Hello  Hip Kit friends, Anke here with a new layout inspiration for Hip Kit Club featuring the October 2023 Hip Kits. For this layout I created a background with stamped and stitched leaves.

 

 

I used the “October 2023 Leaf Background Stamp” and stamped on white cardstock. Then I stitched along the stamped lines using thread in colors that match the colors of the papers and embellishments which are included in the kits.

 

 

Then I cut out a Pocket Life card which I used as a background for my photos and I picked out some die cuts from the “Fall Vibes – Cardstock Ephemera” pack, which is included in the October Main Kit.

 

 

I placed the first photo on the Pocket Life card and added a rainbow die cut, which is also the title of my layout.

 

 

Then I added the second photo, which I embellished with a frame from the “Fall Vibes – Chipboard Frames” pack, which you can find in the October Embellishment Kit. I also chose a tag die cut, added an eyelet and twine and tucked it behind the photo. Then I added more die cuts.

 

 

I backed the Pocket Life card with a piece of the “Fall Vibes -Woodn’t You Believe It” paper. Then I cut some borders from white cardstock and the “Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Essential Solids – Caulk Cardstock”, which is included in the October Cardstock Kit, Therefore I used  the “June 2023 Scallop Border Metal Die”. I placed the borders on top and bottom of the Pocket Life card.

 

 

Then I cut some leaves from white cardstock and vellum using the“October 2023 Layered Leaves Metal Die Set”. I placed the pocket Life card with photo and die cuts on the leaf background and added the die cut leaves. I also added some leaves, which I fussy cut from the “Leaf Tangle” and the “Nuts For Fall” paper.

 

 

I continued embellishing the layout with a fussy cut pumpkin and one of the “Engraved Wood Veneer Stickers”, which are included in the October Embellishment Kit.

 

 

I also added some puffy stickers and some of the “Fall Leaf & Mushroom Felt Stickers” – both included in the October Embellishment Kit.

 

 

Then I chose some word. stickers from the “Fall Vibes Cardstock Stickers” pack, which you can find in the October Main Kit. I backed them with white cardstock and adhered them with foam pads.

 

 

I finished with some of the “Fall Vibes Pearls”, which are included in the October Embellishment Kit.

 

 

I really like how the layout turned out and I hope you like it too.
