Hi friend. There are always so many pretty papers in the main kit and this week, I am featuring the Congratulations paper which has a diamond pattern. The colours are perfect for a sweet photo of a great-grandmother and grandson.

I turned the paper so that the diamonds are vertical and I’ve removed the top section to create an aperture. I imagined flowers poking out from the aperture the way they do in a bunch of flowers.

Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.
I’ve added crepe paper from the embellishment pack to make a small frill and give the opening definition and then layered the die-cut flowers – they are so bright and cheery.

To make the white background more interesting, I’ve carefully stencilled up to the diamond pattern for a pretty, seamless finish. I have used a stencil from a previous Color Kit which are always great value for money.

After creating a large tag to mat the photo, I matted again onto a Pocket Life card. To finish the bottom edge, with a border punch. I have set the title vertically for a change.

I finished off the smaller flower cluster with the wooden and epoxy button – they add such a lovely pop of interest.

I hope that are inspired to use this pretty paper in a slightly different way. Thanks so much for stopping by.
