LET’S CREATE WITH THE OCTOBER MOODBOARD | Morag Cutts

Hi friend.  The October Moodboard and the incredible September kits  have inspired me to create a scrapbook layout about my love of learning.  Not something I have documented before.

The moodboard has elements that sparked the idea about learning – particularly the camera which I am continually learning about photography.

The main circle replicates the wreath from the moodboard and is perfect to position clusters of embellishments.

I didn’t have a photo which could sum up the things I love to learn about such as photography, travel. Also there are things which I need to learn about such as technical stuff for my work.

I layered die-cuts and chipboard pieces (there are so many to choose from)  in the September main kit. I tried out various pieces that related to office or learning – I adore this little cluster!

I created a cluster for the opposite side of the circle to balance things out.  Again, I tried out different pieces and found that a velum Library Card (Embellishment Kit) help to pull the cluster together.  That large TODAY chipboard piece adds a lot of drama to this cluster.

I love the different textures in the collection, vellum, chipboard, puffy stickers!  So wonderful.

I placed a journal card from the Pocket Life kit behind this cluster as I had left this side of the circle open.

You can see the full process on our YouTube channel:

I hope I have inspired you to document something you love to do or about your learning journey.
