Hi friend! How are you enjoying the amazing August Kits? I am simply loving the beautiful papers and all those lovely embellishments! Today, I am using the incredible cut file resources which are free to subscribers. There are so many cut files in the library and new ones added each month.
I picked the lemon cut file from the vast library. To back the file, in my cutting software, I released the design so that the individual elements could be removed. This makes life so much easier and quicker as the machine can simply cut out the backing paper.

To add depth to this area, I stencilled the lemon slices (August Color Kit) using Squeezed Lemonade and Saltwater Taffy – both in the Color kit before adding some splatters.
My photos are from a hen weekend when we escape from our crafting to enjoy ice-cream. I love the broad, rainbow-striped paper (Color Club) which reminded me of summer awnings. So I created a large-scalloped border to fit with my theme.
I added more scallops to the left of my photos along with that black and white strip which helps to make it pop.
I clustered the embellishments over a tag – the rosette layered sticker is gorgeous!
