What do you do with leftover paper or paper that is difficult to use? Here is a way to use up your scraps… rolling them. I picked several journaling cards from older pocket life kits that I hadn’t used. I sprayed some water so it will be much easier to roll them and put an elastic band on them to keep the shape and then adhered the edges.
I lined the rolled papers and adhered them to cardstock paper. It creates dimension and will be a nice mat for the photo.
I put 3D foam under the photo and ephemeras and adhered them to the rolls.
Lastly, I added clear stickers around the rolls. I love these! It’s a super easy way to add splatters without getting messy!
I also use this technique when I have paper that I feel it’s difficult to use. For example, if the pattern is too big, or too bold, rolling them will help because it would only show part of it, and won’t be so intimidating to use.
