Hi, friends! I am excited to share a new layout with you that was scraplifted and inspired by a layout from the talented Morag Cutts! Her beautiful layout is below, and I loved using many the elements from her page to create my own. I have a link to the full process video at the end of this post!
I started with a floral patterned paper from the March Main Kit to create the foundation of the floral cluster at the top of the layout. I fussy cut around part of the cluster to be able to tuck in the newsprint patterned paper and some of the floral elements. I grabbed flowers from the January, February, March, and April Kits to create the cascade of flowers down the page. Morag had used a patterned paper as the base and then trailed elements down the center of the layout. I tried to mimic this general positioning of the elements, but I definitely have a larger top cluster.
I added in Inklingz – Bahama Mama from Shimmerz Paints from a past Color Kit behind my clusters to mimic the light pink she had on her page. I then added the three strips of torn patterned paper across the middle of the page. I used an edge distresser to rough up the torn edges.
I added three photos, just like in the original layout, with two photos to the left and one photo to the right. I tucked in journaling blocks and Pink Fresh chipboard frames behind the photos to draw more attention to them on the layout.
I finished the floral cascade by tucking in flowers to the layers of paper in the lower center of the layout and behind the main chipboard element in the middle of the layout from Simple Stories in the March Kit. This was the same piece used in the original layout and perfectly communicated the feelings in my photos!
I added inking to the bottom of the layout using several exclusive Hip Kit stamps from the April and March Kits. I also continued the Inklingz – Bahama Mama in this section of the layout.
I finished the layout by adding enamel dots from the January Kits and Nuvo Drops from a past Color Kit. I love how beautifully all of the Hip Kits match and can blend together over the months as you collect them! I was able to pull elements from almost every kit this year, and it all works together!

I hope you have a beautiful day and pull out some of your kits to get creative!
