Okay, now for the still shots of my project.
WET & WILD!
For my project, I used the Hip Kit Club cut file to create a sunburst on this summer-themed layout. I layered branding strips from the April ‘Hip & Humble’ collection on top of each sunray, then zig-zag stitched them with my sewing machine. All of the patterns together remind me of a colorful quilt!
Each of the wider sunrays has two brand strips side-by-side, while the smaller sun rays at the bottom of the page only have one. I distressed the edges of the sun rays and branding strips for a weathered, worn look.
I fussy-cut the watercolor circle from one of the Hip & Humble patterned papers to anchor my two photos, then added fabric flowers (April Main Kit) accented with die-cut leaves (March Pretty Floral Die).
I used the Navy Chipboard letters (April Main Kit), Puffy Alphabet Letter Stickers (April Pocket Life Kit), and Puffy Phrase (April Embellishment Kit) for the title. All of these items are layered together on two tags from the April Pocket Life Kit.
I LOVE the way this page turned out … it just screams summer FUN to me!
