Hey friend!  It’s been a while since I dusted off my Silhouette, so it’s a great opportunity to play with the fabulous Hip Kit Subscriber cut files.  I selected a very versatile file from January 2023 to create today.

The file can be used in so many ways.  I’ve used the frames to frame my photos but the negative space I’ve used as a stencil too.

I wanted to stencil around the sweet flowers on the background paper so it adds a coloured postage stamp which appear from behind the flowers.

I blended inks from the Color kits (February and March) to achieve the colour that I wanted.  I then outlined each frame with a light grey fineliner (0.1mm).

After arranging the photos, I wanted even more interest in the top right hand corner.

I wet the area a little with water to allow me to curl and distress the paper easily.
