Hello Hip Kit friends, Anke here with a new layout inspiration for Hip Kit Club. I used the gorgeous March Hip Kits and some of the exclusive metal dies to create a layout with different textures and dimension.

 

 

First I cut some flowers from white cardstock using the “March 2023 Pretty Floral” metal die and backed them with vellum.

 

 

I framed my photo with a wreath, which I also cut from white cardstock using the “March 2023 Leafy Wreath & Bow” metal die and then I fussy cut flowers from the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – “Harmony – Sweet Melody” paper. I arranged the vellum backed floral die cuts on my layout , placed my photo and the fussy cut flowers on these floral die cuts and adhered them with foam pads to add dimension..

 

 

Then I cut a leaf from white cardstock using a metal die from the October 2022 Metal Die Kit. I used this leaf die cut as a template to pierce holes and then I stitched some leaves.

 

 

I chose some butterfly stickers from the “Simple Stories – Simple Vintage Life in Bloom – Sticker Book”, which is included in the March Embellishment Kit. I glued the stickers on cardstock and cut them out. This is a great way to add dimension to a layout because I could now use the stickers like die cuts. I stitched the butterfly trails and then I adhered the butterflies with foam pads.

 

 

I added a layered bow which I cut from the “Harmony – Making Memories” paper and the “Essential Solids – Mango Puff ” paper using the “March 2023 Leafy Wreath & Bow” metal die. The “Mango Puff” paper is included in the March Cardstock Kit.

 

 

My title is a combination of a word sticker and some alphabet stickers, both from the “Simple Vintage Life in Bloom Sticker Book”. Like the butterfly stickers I glued them on cardstock, cut them out and adhered them with foam pads. Then I embellished the title with some fussy cut leaves.

 

 

I wanted to add more green to my vellum backed floral die cuts so I backed the leaves with the “Harmony – Making Memories” paper. I also added some leaves to the butterflies.

 

 

Finally I added some word stickers from the “Simple Vintage Life in Bloom Cardstock Sticker Sheet” and a “Pinkfresh Studio Chipboard Flair”, both included in the March Main Kit and some of the “Simple Vintage life in Bloom Decorative Brads”, which you can find in the March Embellishment Kit.

 

 

This is the finished layout. I really like how it turned out and I hope you like it too.
