Hi friend. I have taken part in the month’s wonderful sketch using the February kits.
I focussed on the ‘stripes’ on the background and used the fabulous Catherine Pooler inks from this month’s Color Kit. I diluted the ink and painted 3 broad stripes.

I had an idea to create a ‘notice board’ effect on my page – perfect for a travel layout. I set eyelets across the area where I applied the ink and strung thread across.
This allowed me to tuck in my photos and ephemera
I love the little die-cuts and vellum pieces in this month’s kits.
I did go a little off-piste. I fully intended to add the floral border down the side but felt it would detract from my design.
