Hi friend. It’s time for a new sketch challenge and your chance to win $25 to spend in store. This week I have pulled out the beautiful Color Kit from January to add some colour to my background before playing with the papers and embellishments!
The key element was the circular photos, so I have die-cut my photo using the wonderful Hip Kit Dies. They are so high-quality. I created a circular frame for my photo by nesting the dies together. You can see how on my video.

The gorgeous colours in the colour kit are just up my street! I wet the cardstock first but applying the Shimmerz to the background with a large round paintbrush.
I love the effect you get by layering and mixing the colours together. I go back when the layout is almost done to add a little more depth below the elements.
The stunning flowers from the Embellishment kit. I adore the bright colours! I ended up adding a few white paint splatters to the layout.
How cute are the pockets from the main kit? They are laser cut stickers and have very fine detail. There are elements on the sticker sheets so you can customize your pockets. Genius!
I added an extra cluster to the top of my layout.
Love the chipboard stickers from the Embellishment kit.
I needed contrasting alpha stickers so I’ve used the beautiful gold stickers from the December kits. I also sneaked in a little stamping on my background – I love the subtle texture it adds. The stamps are from the January Pocket Life kit.
