Hi, friends! I’m excited to share this layout playing along with the February Mood Board Challenge! I used the January 2023 Hip Kits along with a punch from my stash! For this layout, I focused on the bottom left and upper right photos in the Moodboard. I love that rainbow of buildings and collection of books. I think both of those photos fit perfectly with the theme of the embellishments and patterned papers in the January kits!

I added color to the background using the beautiful mediums from Shimmerz in the January Color Kit. I also added in the “Sunny” Shimmerz from a past Color Kit to achieve the rainbow spectrum.
After adding color to the background, I fussy cut half of the book wreath from a patterned paper in the Main Kit. I love the rainbow of books, and it spoke to the creative inspiration books bring to my world. Because my son is finding his love of books, and that’s what this page is all about, this was the perfect addition to this layout.
There are so many great icons found in this month’s kits on the sheets of chipboard and puffy stickers. These help tie in the theme of adventures found in children’s books, and they were the perfect embellishments to anchor my photo and flank each side.
I created my title by combining chipboard, puffy, and alpha stickers.
