Hi friend. We have new mood board challenge and a chance to win $25 to spend in the store! It’s a beautiful ideas board to kick start your creativity.
I was inspired by the hearts and pretty colours to create my layout.
The heart border is made up of lots of die-cut patterned papers. The heart dies from the February kit are pefect for this technique! A fantastic way to use up lots of left over papers.
To add a little pizazz, I sewed small buttons randomly across the border and tucked in a little frame and journaling too.
There are heaps of pretty flowers in the embellishment kit, but I couldn’t resist fussy cutting flowers from one of the patterned papers. I layered them up with leaves and flower die-cuts.
It’s a good idea to curl the edges slightly and use foam tape to add dimension.
I love how the frame looks against the wood grain paper. Did you notice the little sequins and puffy stars?
I continued the stars and sequins around the title – I adore the mix of fonts to add more interest.
You can see my process on our YouTube channel today.
You can take part in this month’s Mood Board Challenge for a chance to win $25 to spend in the store. Just upload your layout to the post in the featured section of our Facebook group. We will pick a winner after the contest closes on 16th February. Good luck!
