Hello Hip Kit friends, Anke here with a new mixed media layout inspiration. For this layout I used the December 2022 Hip Kits, some of the exclusive metal dies and the stencil which is included in the December Color Kit.
I started with applying a layer of modeling paste using the stencil which is included in the December Color Kit to create a snowflake background. Then I cut out a background paper, to back my photo.I cut it from the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – “Winter Moments With You – You Melt Me” paper using one of the new exclusive metal dies.
I also cut out some snowflake clusters using the “Snowflake Cluster” metal die and some snowflakes using the “Layered Snowflakes” die. When the modeling paste was dry I arranged the background die cut, my photo , a Pocket Life card, another piece of the “You Melt Me” paper and the snowflake cluster die cuts on my page.
I decided to add a piece of red cardstock from the Cardstock Kit. I cut off a strip of the cardstock, tore off a bit on both sides, placed it on my page and added photo, dies cuts and paper.
I added the other snowflake die cuts and snowflakes from the “Faux Wood Chipboard Stickers” pack which is included in the December Embellishment Kit.
I also chose a word sticker from the same pack for my title and a border sticker. Then I picked out some floral die cuts from the “Winter Floral Die Cuts” pack , which is also included in the December Embellishment Kit.
I continued embellishing the layout with stickers from the “Chipboard Frames & Mini Phrases” pack, which you can find in the December Main Kit and a puffy sticker. The puffy stickers are included in the December Pocket Life Kit.
I wanted more red accents, so I added some red puffy dots from the “Puffy Alphabet Stickers” pack, which is also included in the December Main Kit. Then I placed two smaller pieces of red cardstock on both sides of my page and finished with adding Nuvo Glitter Drops to the center of each snowflake.
I hope you like the layout and feel inspired to use our exclusive metal dies on your projects.
