Hi everyone, Anke here with a new layout inspiration for Hip Kit Club, featuring the November 2022 Hip Kits. For my layout I chose some of the exclusive November cut files and I created a mixed media background using a stencil from the November Color Kit and modeling paste.

 

 

I chose the following November cut files: “Mistletoe & Bow”, “Ornaments” , “Snowflake Ornaments” and “HoHoHo”. I cut them from white cardstock and backed them with pieces of the Hip Kit Club – Essential Solids papers “Santa’s Pants” , “Icicle” , “Gold” and “Spruce”.

 

 

I continued with creating the star background of my layout using a stencil from the November Color Kit and modeling paste. While the paste was drying I painted the berries of the mistletoe with the Nuvo – Winter White – Glacier Paste, a shimmering paste which is also included in the November Color Kit. It’s a mousse, not a paint but you can apply it with a paint brush easily. It gives  the berries  a beautiful shimmer.

 

 

 

When everything was dry I arranged all elements on my layout and adhered them. I had planned to use the “HoHoHo” cut file for my title but I decided to use two puffy word stickers instead. The stickers are included in the November Pocket Life Kit. I also added a bow, a package and a floral puffy sticker from the same pack.  My photo is framed with one of the “Chipboard Window Ornament” frames, which you can find in the November Embellishment Kit. The cutie on the photo is Alfred with his Santa toy.

 

 

Then I pierced holes and stitched the threads on which the ornaments are hanging

 

 

I applied Nuvo Silver Moondust Glitter drops in the center of each snowflake.

 

 

Finally I added more die cuts, a chipboard sticker and some cardstock star stickers.

 

 

My layout is finished and I hope you like it.
