It’s time for a new sketch challenge and your chance to win $25 to spend in store.  I designed the sketch this month and have used the stunning November kits to create my example.

The sketch is really flexible so you can swap out the photo for 2 smaller photos or change to a portrait photo as needed.

 

I started with 3 papers to use at the top which were cut at an angle.  From there, I used texture paste (Nuvo Glacier Paste) from the November Color kit, together with 1 of the 3 stencils from the Color kit to create pretty silver star background.

Just remember to allow plenty of time for the paste to dry – when it does, it will give you a beautiful silvery finish!

I clustered die cuts from the November Main kit, layering them with foam tape to add some dimension.  I hand stitched stars at the end of my creation process to add a little more texture.  They look fabulous with the puffy stars and cardstock stickers.

I also die-cut leaves using the fabulous and exclusive Fancy Frond dies.  Although these are out of stock right now, it’s worth remembering to get in early with the next die release!

I layered the photo over a chipboard frame before decorating with die cuts and puffy stickers.
