Hello, friends! I’m excited to share my new layout featuring the November 2022 Hip Kits for the current Sketch Challenge. I loved the inspiration the sketch provided and creating this layout incorporating lots of beautiful embellishments! I have all the details in the full process video up on the HKC YouTube channel. I used a patterned paper from the November Main Kit for my background. I added subtle color to the background using the Christmas Cheer Shimmerz from the November Color Kit and an exclusive “Cheer” stamp with the Passion Fruit Pinkfresh Ink also found in the Color Kit.
I used the general layout from the sketch as my starting point, and I loved adding all of the beautiful layers of paper and embellishments to take it to the next level.
The embellishments and details bring out the cozy Christmas vibe behind the story in my photo. The amazing elements found in the Main Kit and Embellishment Kit made it easy to coordinate the colors in the layout and bring it all together. I loved having the sketch as inspiration to guide this creative process and make sure I included all the small details!
