NOVEMBER MOOD BOARD | Morag Cutts

This month’s Mood Board challenge is beautiful and is a perfect compliment to the October kits.

When I saw A Latte Spice paper with its large circle, I knew I would want to make the most of the feature.  So I gutted the circle and layered more circles below.

I had intended to make concentric circles, but because I cut out the first one in the wrong place, I ended up with an offset design which I really liked.

I stitched around each circle for extra detail.  It’s a great place for a title (Pocket Life Alphas).

The absolute best thing about autumn are beautiful leaves.  Leaves are always my favourite design element.  The October embellishment kit has the most STUNNING leaves with delicate gold foiling.  There are absolutely heaps of leaves in the pack too!

In the main kit there are gold stickers although I think a better description may be gold acetate or metal?  The are totally stunning with extra fine detail as you can see above.

I had a few leaves flutter down from the fussy cut sunflower making sure one connected to the circles.

My favourite cluster at the bottom!

You can see the full process on YouTube today:

You can join in the challenge too for a chance to win $25 to spend in the store.  It’s easy to enter.  Just create a layout using the moodboard as your inspiration.  Then upload your layout to the post in the Hip Kit Club Group on Facebook. You have until 17th November to enter.

Good luck!  Thanks for stopping by.
