Hi everyone, Anke here with a new layout inspiration, featuring the beautiful September Hip Kits. I created a layout focusing on texture and dimension using different techniques like layering, stitching or using foam strips and pads. And I also added fussy cut elements.
First I cut off a piece from the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – It’s A New Day – Silk Throw paper, a bit smaller than my 9×12 ” cardstock. Then I cut out the white parts and distressed the edges of the paper .
I glued the paper on my layout, pierced holes and stitched along the lines of the paper with twine in matching colors. Then I fussy cut lots of flowers and leaves from the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – It’s A New Day – My Neighbor’s Garden paper and tucked them in clusters behind the edges of the Silk Throw paper on my layout. Then I adhered them. For some of the flowers I used foam pads to add more dimension.
I embellished my photo with one of the exclusive It’s A New Day – Chipboard Frames, which are included in the September Embellishment Kit and then I backed it with a card from the September Pocket Life Kit. Then I added two chipboard stickers, one from the Chipboard Accent Stickers pack which is included in the September Embellishment Kit and one from the Chipboard Titles pack, which you can find in the September Main Kit.
I continued embellishing the layout with three Chipboard Phrase Stickers, which I also adhered using foam pads.
Then I added two of the Puffy Butterfly Stickers which are also included in the September Embellishment Kit.
Finally I added two of the Puffy Heart Stickers and some of the dots from the Dark Blue Puffy Alphabet Stickers pack which I included in the September Main Kit.
And here is the finished layout:
I like the different textures and the dimensional look and I hope you like it too.
