Hello Hip Kit friends, Anke here with a new cut file layout inspiration featuring the August 2022 Hip Kits.
I chose the following September Cut Files: “Coffee & Books” , “Geo Circle Background”, “Books” in two sizes and the feather from the “Dream Big” cut file. I cut all from white cardstock.
I started with the “Geo Circle Background” and backed it with the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Chase the Sun – Wave Scape paper. Then I backed the “Coffee & Books” and the “Books” cut files with pieces of the Chase the Sun – Iced Tea paper and the Great Escape paper. I also backed the feathers with the Iced Tea paper. Then I placed the circle background on my layout, added the other pieces and my photo and arranged them , combined with some of the “Fabric Leaf Die Cuts”, which are included in the August Embellishment Kit.
Before I adhered everything , I added some hand stitched elements. I stitched the segments of the upper right circle with twine in two different shades of pink and then I embellished the circle with one of the “PuffyShape Stickers” which are included in the August Pocket Life Kit.
I layered my photo with a tag and a tab from the “Die Cut Tags & Frames” pack, which is also included in the August Pocket Life Kit, placed it on the embellishment cluster in the bottom right corner of the circle background and added more of the “Fabric Leaf Die Cuts”.
I also added some of the “Fabric Label Die Cuts”, which are included in the August Main Kit.
Then I glued the circle background on my page using foam strips to add dimension.
Finally I added one of the “Mini Puffy Accents Stickers”, which are also included in the August Pocket Life Kit, more of the “Puffy Shape Stickers” and Nuvo Drops from my stash.
I really love how the layout turned out and as you can see, the August Kits are not only perfect for Summer layouts but also for Fall themed projects.
