Let’s Use Cut Files

Hi everyone , Anke here with a new layout inspiration  for Hip Kit Club. For my layout I used the August 2022 Hip Kits and some of the exclusive cut files.

 

 

I chose some of the August cut files,  the “Flip Flops”, the “Hibiscus” , the “Summer & Sun”, and the “Rainbow Background”  and cut them from white cardstock. Then I backed them with papers from the kit.

 

 

For the background I chose the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Chase the Sun – Dream Destination paper. I cut off a piece which is a little bit larger than the cut file and then I glued the cut file on the blue paper using foam pads to add dimension.

 

 

Then I backed the word Summer  and the flowers with a piece of the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Chase the Sun – Happy Hour paper.

 

 

Finally I backed the “Flip Flops” with pieces of the Hip Kit Club Essentials Solids – Lemon Sorbet and Ocean Depths papers, which are included in the August Cardstock Kit. I glued the cut file background on my layout and added title, flowers, flip flops and my photo.

 

 

Then I picked out a frame, a tag and a tab from the Chase the Sun – Die Cut Tags & Frames pack which is included in the August Pocket Life Kit. I backed my photo with a Pocket Life card, added the frame and distressed the edges of the Pocket Life card. Then I added the tag and the tab.

I continued embellishing my photo with some of the Chipboard Accent Stickers which you can find in the  August Embellishment Kit and I added a piece of twine to the tag.

 

 

Then I fussy cut some leaves from the Chase the Sun – Leaf Tangle paper and placed them on both sides of the flowers, on two sides of my photo and beside the title.

 

 

 

I picked out some die cuts from the Chase the Sun Ephemera pack, which is included in the August Main Kit and added them to my page. I also added some flowers and word stickers from the Puffy Phrase Stickers pack, which you can find in the August Embellishment Kit, and two of the Chipboard Phrase Stickers,  which are included in the August Pocket Life Kit.

 

 

Finally I added one of the Mini Puffy Accent Stickers, which are also included in the August Pocket Life Kit and some Nuvo Drops from my stash.
