Hi everyone, Anke here with a new layout inspiration featuring the July 2022 Hip Kits.
I used some of the black and white items which are included in the kits and I found some perfectly matching photos of our dog Edgar and his best friend, a Dalmatian. I couldn’t decide which photo I should use so I decided to use them all and create a layout that incorporates a mini album. I also chose some blue and red elements that match the dogs’ blue and red collars.
I started with the mini album. Therefore I cut off a piece of white cardstock, 12 x4,5inches and folded it at 4,5 and 9 inches. Then I decorated each side with the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Wild & Free – Country Life paper. Then I added my photos. For the closure I chose a black ribbon. I decorated the front page of the album with some of the floral die cuts which are included in the July Color Kit. I colored the die cuts with the Lindy’s Magical Powders which are also included in the Color Kit. I also added some chipboard stickers and some puffy stickers from the July Main– and Pocket Life Kit.
Then I chose some die cuts of the exclusive ephemera pack which you can find in the July Main Kit and more chipboard- and puffy stickers to embellish the pages of the mini album.
For my journaling I punched out a circle from a Pocket Life Card and added it to the album.
Then I ripped off a piece of the white cardstock and glued the other two pieces on the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Wild & Free – Yeehaw paper, added some machine stitching and placed the mini album.
I chose some of the fabric flags which are included in the July Main Kit, sew them together and placed them above the mini album. Then I added two of the Wild & Free Chipboard Shape Stickers which are also included in the July Main Kit.
I added some black color splatters and continued embellishing my layout with some of the Wild & Free Cowprint Fabric  Star Die Cuts which are included in the July Embellishment Kit.
Then I placed two more fabric flags and a die cut in the upper left corner of my page and added two chipboard stickers and some blue dots from the Navy Puffy Alphabet Stickers pack, which is included in the July Main Kit. These are a great replacement for enamel dots.
This is the finished layout. I hope you like it and feel inspired to get out your kits and create a beautiful project.
You can find my process video for this layout on the Hip Kit Club YouTube channel.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Have a great day.
Anke xx
