Let’s Try Something New- Tassels

Hello everyone.

Have you ever made a tassel? They are the perfect embellishment for your pages & because you make them out of patterned paper will suit any page!!

Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.

All you need to do is take a rectangle length of paper, height & width will determine the size of the finished tassel, so have a play to see what suits. Cut close together cuts leaving about 1 centimetre at the top (fringing scissors or normal scissors will work). Roll around the end of a small paintbrush handle, gluing or sticking into place ( add some thread in the roll while glueing) Taking a small strip of paper & glue to the top edge to finish your tassel off.

This photo is just hilarious & pretty sure my hubby didn’t think I’d be using it on a layout when I took it but it just called out to be shown & thank you Snapchat, perfect for my page!!!

Thanks for joining me today & hope you’ll have a go at making a few tassels.

Until next time,
