It’s Sophie with you today ! There is a new sketch challenge going on starting today and I created a page to go with it !

I used the beautiful May 2022 kits for my page.
I decided to use the Photoplay Paper – Maker’s Series – Accessory Pack White Cardstock Interactive Waterfall, Pocket, Tags & Page Flaps provided in the May Pocket Life kit to create two flaps to tuck in another photo and my journaling. It’s a clean and easy way to add more photos and write more personal journaling without making the page look too busy.
I stapled 2 pieces of ribbon to the flap to open them easily.
I used a beautiful floral 3×8 card centered on my white background instead of a strip of ink as suggested in the sketch and teared a piece of pink patterned paper with a zig zag stitch just under it.
I used the Jen Hadfield Live & Let Grow – Woodgrain Alphabet Thickers (Pocket Life kit) for my title. I embellished my page with lovely florals from the HKC Exclusive – Together is Best – Floral & Butterfly Ephemera (May Embellishment kit) and added a few Fabric Butterfly Die Cuts (May Main kit) around my photos. Those butterflies are my favorite embellishments of all the May kits !!
Finally, I added a few Color Cast Designs – Acrylic Flowers here and there on the page.
