Let’s Create a Mini-album

Hello Hip Kit friends !

It’s Sophie on the blog today and I am sharing a cute mini album created with the May 2022 Hip Kits !

Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.

I decided to highlight Farine, my puppy at 4 months old, and a mini album was the perfect way to include many lovely photos of her.

I cut two 4 1/2 inch squares out of very thick cardstock, and a 1 1/2 x 4 1/2 rectangle for the center piece, and covered them with the blue HKC Exclusive Essential Solid paper to create my cover. I folded in an accordion another rectangle out of the same Solid paper for the inner center of the album. I created 4 pockets out of several patterned papers (May Paper kit) and adhered them to my album.

I created 4 tags to put in each pocket and decorated them with photos, embellishments and journaling, as seen here:

I stapled ribbons on each tag so that they could easily be taken out of the pockets.

I also created two cute pockets for the inner front and back covers of the album and added beautiful little tags, which come from the HKC Exclusive Together is Best Tag & Label Die Cuts in the May Pocket Life kit.

Oh, believe me this mini album was fun to make !!! It’s such a precious little book of memories and will take place in a special shelf in my craft room !

I hope this was inspiring for you !
