Let’s Use Cut Files

Hello Hip Kit friends,  Anke here with a new cut file layout inspiration featuring the March 2022 Hip Kits.

 

 

I chose the “Floral Heart” cut file (April 2022 cut files) and cut it from white cardstock. I wanted to use my photos in a creative way, so I picked out some photos I took from the Magnolia blossoms in our garden and used them to back the heart.

 

 

Then I backed the rest with the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Happy Days With You – It’s True paper, the We Go Way Back paper and the Hip Kit Club Essentials – Vintage Lilac paper.

 

 

I got the assignment to use the B side of a patterned paper as my background. I chose the Pinkfresh Studio – Life Right Now – Slow Days paper. I cut some strips, distressed the edges and sewed them on my layout. On this background I placed the heart cut file with my photos. I adhered it with foam pads to add dimension. I also added some flowers which I fussy cut from the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Happy Days With You – Just Between Us paper.

 

 

For the title I chose some of the Simple Stories – Full Bloom – Foam Dimensional Phrase Stickers, which you can find in the March Embellishment Kit.

 

 

I continued embellishing my page with one of the Pinkfresh Studio – Life Right Now – Chipboard Flairs and some of the Simple Stories – Full Bloom – Journaling Bits, which are included in the March Pocket Life Kit.

 

 

I also added a little chipboard bird (included in the March Main Kit), some stickers from the Simple Stories – Full Bloom – Sticker Book, which you can find in the March Embellishment Kit and some enamel dots , also included in the March Main Kit.

 

 

To give the layout the final touch I added some hand stitching and two cute bees from the Simple Stories – Full Bloom – Foam Dimensional Phrase Stickers pack ,which is included in the March Embellishment Kit.

 

 

I had so much fun creating this layout and I’m really  happy with how it turned out.  I hope you like it too and feel inspired to use some of the gorgeous Hip Kit Club cut files on your next project.
