Let’s Create with Chipboard Frames

Hello Creative Friends!!! It’s Jennifer today with a new Product Focus Wednesday layout so I played around with the chipboard frames from the February 2022 Embellishment Kit.

 

 

I started by applying Shimmerz “It’s Mint To Be” ink from the Color Kit on a white cardstock to create a very lightly colored background. Then I glued the frames diagonally overlapping them, all glued with 3D foam to add dimension. I selected frames in pink/green tones. I also made frame clusters on either side of my page

 

 

I added my two photos in the center of my page, one below the other after layering them with crumpled tracing paper and green pattern paper.

 

 

I then decorated everything with Floral Ephemera that I cut to remove the white border. I added Cardstock Stickers from the Pocket Life Kit to the photos and I added several golden eyelets everywhere to bring a little shine and a little precious side to this page. I finished this layout by adding splashes of black ink to bring contrast to these pale colors.

I hope I have inspired you in some way today. I loved making this layout with this kit which is simply beautiful with its soft colors. And the frames bring a little touch of originality that I really like.
