Cut File Tuesday

Hello everyone. Today I’m sharing a cut file layout but with a difference. Our DT prompt was to use the negative space of a cut file & I chose the gorgeous Geo background.

Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.

I cut the cut file full size & used it as a stencil, adding some inks to the open spaces & then hand stitching, in co-ordinating colors, round each area.

As I already had a lot going on the page I added my photo cluster to the bottom right, extending up a bit.

The colors in the January 2022 Hip Kits are really lovely & vibrant & each kit works beautifully together. My cluster contains chipboard stickers, cardstock die cuts, chipboard frame stickers, photo transparency ( under the photo, for a pop of color ) puffy stickers & clear stickers.

I added 2 extra areas, where I ripped the background cardstock, top left & side right & added extra embellishments to draw the eye around the page.

I loved creating this layout, even though the stitching took ages, I think it was worth the effort!!!

Thanks for joining me, until next time
