I created my page with the November 2021 Main kit. Here is a little step-by-step…
I selected a few of my favorite patterned papers from the Main kit. I cut each of them randomly to different widths and lengths.
I scored each strip of paper 6 times, alternating 1/4 and 1/2 of an inch between each score line and bent them in accordion to create more dimension and interest.
I placed them in an horizontal line and stitched them down on a thick white cardstock. I created two simple stitches and one zigzag stitch on each strip of paper with matching thread.
I chose a lovely photo of Sabrina and our dog Fiona next to the Christmas tree for this page. I printed it in color because I thought that the colors matched perfectly the patterned papers !
I added tissue paper and adhesive foam behind the photo before adhering it to the page.
I used the « Wish Season » die cut from the HKC Exclusive Wish Season Ephemera pack for my title.
I hang a few die cut ornaments from the same Ephemera pack next to the title, and created a big cluster of embellishments on the lower left corner of the photo. I used the HKC Exclusive Wish Season Ephemeras, the HKC Exclusive Wood Veneer Shapes and some fussy cut flowers from the beautiful Wish Season Festive & Fun Paper.
I printed my journaling on one of the papers that is in the embellishments pack ! I added two HKC Exclusive Wish Season Chipboard Phrases (« Love This » and « Holiday Happenings ») right next to my journaling.
Finally, I added a few Nuvo Crystal drops from last year’s November Color kit.

I love to play with papers, bending them, tearing them or stitching on them ! It’s a simple way to jazz up a page !
