MIXED MEDIA MONDAY | JENNIFER RAMBERT | NOVEMBER 2021 HIP KITS

Hi creative friends !!! It’s Jennifer here with you for a new mixed media layout with the gorgeous November 2021 kits only containing exclusives and a May 2021 kit mix that you can always buy here before.

When I discovered the papers in this kit, I immediately said to myself when I saw the blue “So Cozy” and pink “Merry Everything” patterned paper that I had to do something with them. So I decided to use them as a strip for the bottom of my page. I tore three blue stripes and two pink stripes that I stuck between them, superimposing them and alternating colors.

I then coated a white card stock with clear Gesso to prepare it for the inks. I then made two pink areas at the top left and bottom right of my page. I used Shimmerz Pink and Vibez Sweet Heart inks to match the pink of the patterned paper.

I then glued the tape attached to the center of my page. All I have to do is add my photo and decorate. To start, I used a Chipboard frame that I embossed with the Silver Tinsel powder included in the Color kit then that I insert under my photo. I cut out several blue and pink flowers from the “Festive & Fun” pattern paper. And I also used Die Cut flowers  from the May 2021 embellishment kit that I hadn’t had a chance to use. With all these flowers, I made a flower bouquet at the bottom of my photo and another flower bouquet at the top of my photo.

I inserted inside these flower clusters foliage made with the Die set from the October 2021 Kit I used white card stock and I embossed the ends with Silver Tinsel powder to add more of light and shine. I also added fake white berries and big blue leaves and Die Cuts butterflies from the May 2021 embellishment kit. I added “So Wonderful” and “The Sparkle in Your Eyes” Puffy stickers on the bunches flowers. I also added silver enamel dots here and there which are really stunning.

I finished this layout with touches of white inks to harmonize everything and bring light. With this page, I am slowly entering the Christmas period. Hope you like it and inspire you for a future project. I loved making it and playing with the embossed powder which each time brings a little sparkling touch to the creations.
