Hi friends! Andrea here with a new layout showcasing different HKC exclusive products from my November 2021 Hip Kits. I had so much fun creating my first Holiday page of the month. I went back in time to the very first Christmas and New Year spent together with the love of my life. So many stories have been written after that and I am thankful for that.

 

 

I was super excited to open my November Kits. Last week, I worked with the printables, but seeing all the papers, embellishments, and foil details just makes things better. I had to work with my favorite patterned paper (Name) from the Main Kit. I fussy cut a section of that paper and adhered the rest to a 12×12 piece of white smooth cardstock to create my background. This way, I had a bigger white section to work with. I printed my photo in black and white to create some contrast with the colorful patterned paper and the rest of the embellishments.

 

 

 

After that, it was time for me to decide what products I was going to work with and set the rest aside. It wasn’t easy, but here is my choice: the brand new stamps and dies (I count these two products as just one along with the Color Kit), the floral die cuts from the Embellishment Kit, the cardstock stickers, and one pocket life card from the PL Kit. My first step was to stamp the tree from the stamp set using the Seafoam and Hot Tub color inks from Catherine Pooler Designs from the Color Kit and use the coordinating metal die to cut the shape. Y also stamped the flower and stars and embossed them using the Silver Tinsel embossing powder from Ranger that we got with the kits. I used all these elements as embellishments. The tree was placed at the bottom right corner creating a cluster with a couple of cardstock stickers. I also placed some snowflake stickers around the cluster.

 

 

I fussy cut a 4×6 PL card from the PL kit to create my title and added my embossed flowers and some floral die cuts from the Embellishment Kit around it to create some interest. I added the pretty star garland under the title and right above my journaling. I finish the page by adding some Nuvo drops to each dot on the patterned paper to create some texture.
