Hi everyone,
It’s Maartje here today with a new layout for Mixed Media Monday.
I’ve used the October 2021 hip kits.
To create the background I’ve used a mask stencil and a blue inkpad from my stash. I love the contrast of the blue in the background against the bright orange and yellow from the ephemera.
I’ve added some splatters for a messy look.

I’ve used the diamond shapes from the embellishment kit to create little shakers.
Some gold sequins and the plastic packaging from the kit do the trick.
I love an interactive element!
I’ve also used a cloud punch with a few of the design papers.
For some texture I distressed the edges and placed them on top of the diamonds and behind my title.
To finish off the layout I’ve fussy cut some flowers from the design paper and used some of the ephemera to create a few clusters. The clear stickers are backed with white cardstock so they don’t lose their color.
