Hello crafty Friends !

 

It’s Sophie on the blog today with a lovely layout focussing on four of my favorite products from the October 2021 kits !

 

 

I chose these four items from the collection:

 

 

• Pocket Cards (Pocket Life kit)
• HKC Exclusive Sweater Weather Ephemeras (Main kit)
• HKC Exclusive Sweater Weather Chipboard Stickers (Pocket Life kit)
• HKC Exclusive Sweater Weather Clear Mixed Media Stickers (Embellishment kit)

 

My starting point was this beautiful 4×6 Pocket Card. I used it for my title and based the rest of my layout on the colors, flowers and leaves on it. 

 

 

I selected a few die cuts from the Main kit Ephemera pack that matched my theme and color scheme as shown here.

 

 

I used another 4×6 Pocket Card and two 3×4 cards to place behind my photo. 

 

I printed the photo in black and white, added tissue paper and adhesive foam behind it and centered it on my page.

 

I selected a few clear stickers to tuck behind the Pocket Cards and photo in matching colors. I just ADORE the effect of these stickers !

 

I used a few strips of patterned paper and branding strips that I curled and stitched at the bottom of the page. Simple, yet it adds amazing dimension !

 

 

 

 

Finally, I tied everything together with beautiful clusters of embellishments, even adding a few flowers and leaves to the October Pocket Card. 

 

 

I printed my journaling on velum, placed some Chipboard Stickers here and there and a few dots of the Nuvo Auburn Pearl Crystal Drops (October Color kit) as the finishing touch.
