MAIN KIT ONLY THURSDAY | MARI CLARKE | OCTOBER 2021 HIP KITS

Hello Hip Kit fans! It’s Mari here with some 12×12 scrapbooking layout inspiration using the beautiful October 2021 Main Kit!

I used a piece of the white cardstock from the cardstock kit as the base for my project.  I cut strips from the “A Little Batty” paper (2.5 inches and 1.5 inches) and then used border punches to finish one edge of each strip. I used a scallop border punch and a notebook paper punch.  I adhered these strips as well as the bar code from the “Turning Leaves” paper to the left side.  I added sewing through the papers as well.

I cut the exclusive “Web” cut file from the “Harvest Wishes” paper and added it to my white cardstock with foam adhesive.  This just adds some nice dimension to the web.

I added my 4×3 photo to some of the “Skully & Mulder” paper and adhered the photo just slightly to the right of the center of the web.  I added die cut clusters to each side of the photo using the “Sweater Weather” ephemera.  I added the Hocus Pocus title in a curve to the upper left of the photo using the “Sweater Weather” puffy alphabet stickers.

I added some of the chipboard stickers from the “Sweater Weather” chipboard phrases above the die cut cluster on the right.

I added another cluster at the bottom right of the layout as well as some journaling strips; I typed the journaling on my vintage typewriter and cut them into strips.  I sprinkled some enamel dots around the layout to finish it off.  I have added lots of dimension and layers to the layout with foam adhesive in all of the cluster areas.

Be sure to hop over to the Hip Kit Club and check out the beautiful October Kits; they are just amazing!

Thank you for so much for stopping by the blog today!

xx Mari
