Hello everyone & thank you for joining me today. I have a mixed media layout to share, using the September 2021 hip kits.

I started this layout by smooching on some watered down inks, mixing Mango Tango Vibes with Orange Sherbet Shimmerz, both from the September 2021 color kit & adding it to the top right & bottom left then added a few splatters with some Jeni B Blue Vibes, from the July 2021 color kit ( still in the store) & also a bit of black. I stamped a few circles, using black ink, onto book paper & fussy cut them out & added those to these areas, a few extra stamped circles & finished off with some small hand drawn circles.
I tore a piece of the exclusive Pass me a note paper & another piece from the exclusive Bubble tea paper, curled the edges & glued them together. I fuzzy cut out a large, hand drawn scalloped border & added it on the right hand side & machine stitched it all together, I then added this , centrally, onto my background.
I made my photo cluster using a few of the project life cards, adding those behind my photo & built it up with die cut pieces from the exclusive September Days ephemera pack, mainly using the book themed ones, to tie in with my photo.
I fussy cut a few of the letters off the Pass me a Note paper, fiddly but worth it, & added those over the stamped book paper circles, to reiterate the reading theme.
I really enjoyed making this layout & picking all the elements to match the reading vibe. I hope I have inspired you to maybe have a go at making a reading layout, of books you’ve read or maybe your little one reading, like me!!
