Hi friend.  I created a super-cute little satchel gift bag using the September kits.  This gift is perfect to celebrate a new school year or starting college.  It’s big enough to hold a little mini book and stationery plus the front pocket holds a gift card.

The front of the bag is  decorated with the cute puffy stickers from the Pocket Life kit.  I used the alarm clock die-cut from the same kit as a ‘charm’ to hang on the side of the bag.

Opening up the bag, you can see I made a pocket to hold the gift card.  I tucked in die-cuts as if they were poking out of the pocket.

I stitched the edges of the pocket and around the bag to add detail.

On the back of the bag, there is an awesome canvas pocket from the Main Kit. It’s perfect to hold die-cuts or tags.

Inside the bag I created a simple tag book using the cards from the Pocket Life kit.

The bag is a really simple construction.  It can be constructed from 1 sheet of 12×12″ paper.  The template below shows the dimensions:
