Today is main kit thursday ! I used the beautiful September 2021 Main kit for my page.
I wanted to scrap about Sabrina’s first day of school, and I found many inspiring things in the main kit for that !
I started with a white cardstock as my background. I teared a big chunk of the beautiful exclusive September Days Bubble Tea Paper and placed it on the bottom of the layout, ruffling up the edges a little bit and machine stitched on it with pink thread.
I fussy cut numerous apples from the HKC Exclusive September Days Teacher’s Pet Paper and wanted them to be the focus on my page.
I also used the beautiful HKC Exclusive September Days Clear Star Stickers that I first sticked on white cardstock and fussy cut so that their colors stay bright and true on the page.
I centered my big colourful photo on the page, behind which I put tissue paper and adhesive foam.
I clustered the apples and the stars on the left side of the photo where I added beautiful die cuts from the Pinkfresh Studio The Best Day collection ephemera pack. I used two Pinkfresh Studio tags, phrase die cuts and a cute September Days Fabric Pocket Die Cut to wrap up my embellishments.
My title is a mix from the HKC Exclusive September Days Puffy Phrase Stickers and the Navy Puffy Alphabet Stickers.
I decided to print my journaling on strips of white cardstock to make it stand out a little bit more.
