Hey everyone!  Today I’ve decided to focus on the beautiful blues in the August kits to create a layout of my son.  In doing so, I’ve chosen the blue mandalas from the beautiful Paige Evans paper, the blue alpha stickers from Simple Stories, and several elements from the Vicki Boutin sticker sheet!  I can not forget about the HKC exclusive gorgeous blue watercolor paper (“Daisy Tangle”) that inspired the layout!

I used a piece of heavy-weight cardstock to create a mixed-media background that would coordinate with the chosen elements.

The Simple Stories blue alphas worked beautifully with the rich blues in the papers and other embellishments used to layer behind the photo.

I used gold elements from the Vicki Boutin sticker sheet; there are several small gold dots on the sheet that I’ve been able to use on more than one layout!  I’ve  also included puffy stars from the Amy Tangerine sticker sheet included in the main kit.
