Hello Hip Kit friends ! 

 

Sophie back with you today with a trio of cards !

 

 

I used the beautiful August kits for these !

 

For the card on the top of the photo, I used the HKC Exclusive Collect Memories So Fancy Paper (Paper kit) that I put on a white cardstock card. I added a slightly smaller white cardstock on it, backed with adhesive foam, on which I stitched a 3×4 black dot pocket card (Pocket Life kit) with yellow thread. 

 

 

I also teared a strip of a Simple Stories Sunkissed Washi Tape (Embellishment kit) and created a scalloped strip with black cardstock that I placed right below the pocket card.

 

I embellished this card with some Simple Stories Sunkissed Chipboard Accent Stickers (Embellishment kit) and Simple Stories Sunkissed Bits & Pieces Ephemeras (Main kit).

 

The second card, the one on the left lower side of the photo, might be my favorite ! I started with a plain white card as my base. I created a rectangle with the HKC Exclusive Collect Memories So Fancy Paper (Paper kit) and also used its branding strip, adding a zig zag stitch between the two with white thread. I mounted them on adhesive foam before placing them on my card. 

 

I painted one beautiful Prima Marketing Plain Chipboard Laser Cut Flower (Embellishment kit) with a few coats of white gesso. I let it dry, than applied the three inks that we received in the Color kit; the Catherine Pooler Limoncello, Be Mine and Something Borrowed Premium Dye Ink Pad. To make this flower bunch stand out a little bit more, I applied gesso and white splatters on the pink patterned paper of my card. 

 

 

 

I fussy cut a few flowers out of the HKC Exclusive Collect Memories Cosmo-licious Paper and tuck them on and under the chipboard flower. My title if from the Simple Stories Sunkissed Bits & Pieces Ephemera pack (Main kit).

 

 

My last card is a slimline card. I had to use backside of the stunning HKC Exclusive Collect Memories Artsy Rainbow Paper (Paper kit) as the main rectangle on my card. I added a tiny scalloped border and a teared piece of the So Fancy Paper at its base. I also used a ribbon from my stash and added some stitching with white thread for additional details. 

 

 

I fussy cut a beautiful mandala out of the American Crafts Paige Evans Wonders Paper #1 (Paper kit) and added a few hand stitches with different matching embroidery floss on it. I mounted it on adhesive foam before adhering it to the card. 

 

 

I used the American Crafts Amy Tangerine Brave + Bold Be Bold Phrase Thickers (Main kit) for my title and used a few thicker flowers to embellish around the mandala as my finishing touch !
