Hello everyone, Christina here with a new layout inspiration for you. Since my July Kits are somehow stuck at the customs in Frankfurt/ Germany, I did another page using the Hip Kit Club June 2021 Kits. I love them so much anyway, and have so many material from it left, so it’s not a problem at all to stretch this Kit even a little further.

Inspired by the colors in my photo, I wanted to use mostly candy colored papers and embellishments on my page. So I started by freehand cutting 4 patterned papers in a wavy shape, that should resemble the water from the pool, and distressed the edges with my scissors.
Then I matted my photo on various patterned papers, including the black and white striped one, because I find that this makes the photo stand out on my page against the wavy papers.
Next, I added my “summer” title, which is one of the HKC exclusive chipboard words. I loooooove how it pops on the page!
To finish the page off, I added my journaling and a mixture of fussy cut flowers and butterflies, Pinkfresh Studio floral ephemera and HKC exclusive vellum butterflies. And as in most of my pages, I added some paint splatters.
