Hello Hip Kit friends and fans, Becki here to share a layout with you that I created for the weekly challenge using the June 2021 Hip Kit Club kits.
The challenge for this week is to create a layout using black, white, and yellow with a diagonal, circle or linear design that is celebration themed.

The layout I created is about a trip to the zoo when we celebrated my nieces 11th birthday. Typically, this isn’t a color combination that I would choose but I do love how this project turned out!
The yellow letter stickers in the main kit are perfection! I wish I had 10 packages of them. They’re beautiful and the perfect shade of yellow.
I created a diagonal design starting at the top left and going downward to the bottom right. Along each edge of the design you’ll find that I ripped the background paper  and added a pop of yellow behind the background. This grounds the entire design with a bold yellow element.
