Since I scrapbook in a smaller format, I have to get creative with my embellishments. The standard die cut is just too big for my pages, so I love to create my own!

This layout is about my youngest son’s new found love for sno cones, so what better than to make a bunch of sno cones?!

With Father’s Day coming up, I always like to ask my kids questions about their dad and grandpa. Usually I do it individually, but this year I asked the questions together and I do not regret my decision because it was so hilarious!
Along with the questions, I did a little photo shoot with my boys. The photo was too cute not to print full sized.
But with the plethora of journaling and the large photo, there wasn’t much space to add a ton of embellishing. I decided to make a little flag, reminiscent of a golf flag (since my dad loves to golf), as my DIY embellishment for this page.
