Hello my dears.
I hope you had a good end to the old year and started the new year well. I spent the last day of the year very small with my family and used the nice weather for a long walk with our little big four-legged friend.
I always like to use the last day or the last days of the year to review the old year, to reflect on moments and to consider what I expect from the new year.
Last year was just different in many ways. A lot of things that we have loved have changed, and everyday life has changed even more.
Because of the renewed lockdown since the beginning of December, we are now spending even more time together, are at home a lot, study at home, work at home, live at home.
So we are looking forward to the year with the hope of something normal.
And that always includes my favorite hobby – scrapbooking.
That’s why it fits perfectly that I can welcome the New Year with a layout. This was created with the wonderful November kit.
I used the Main Kit and the Embellishment Kit. The basis for my layout was the great sketch by dear Anke.
For the background I used 3 different patterned papers from the kit and tore them off with the help of a ruler.
I have printed out the photo in 4×4 inch format and also backed it with patterned paper.
For the decoration I used different embellishments from the embellishment kit and created two spots.
I chose the puffy word stickers tone on tone on the background paper. In my opinion, this makes it look more harmonious.
Last but not least, I used the alphabet stickers for the title.
Thank you for stopping by and have a Happy New Year to you too.
See you soon, your Sonja
