COLOR CHALLENGE | MUSTARD AND PLUM | Daniela Janke

Hi Hip Kit Friends! Welcome back for more October 2020 Hip Kit inspiration. It’s Daniela again, and today I’m sharing my take on the Color Challenge happening over in the Hip Kit Club Facebook Group. This week, the challenge is about pickin two colors to work with and I decided on Mustard and Plum, a beautiful fallish color combination. Let’s take a look:

As you can see, I’ve chosen these two colors because they match perfectly with the colors of ny kids’ jackets. I started my layout by cutting fringes into two paper stripes. Then I cut apart two of those beautiful Simple Stories – Cozy Days – Chipboard Frames, because I wanted to add them to the stripes. This waym there is lots of dimension on the page because auf the different layers.

I also added two stickers from the Simple Stories – Cozy Days – Foam Phrase Stickers included in the Embellishment Kit. Those stickers add even more dimension.

Golden accents add a special touch to my project. I combined the golden boarder stickers from the Pebbles – Jen Hadfield The Avenue – Sticker Book with the Pebbles – Jen Hadfield The Avenue – Gold Puffy Phrase Thickers to have some shiny elements on this page.

Here are some more impressions:

If you want to play along, don’t forget to share your work  in the Hip Kit Club Facebook Group.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a great weekend!

Daniela
