Hello Hipkitclub crafty girls, It’s Sami here with my first design team project focusing the exclusive August 2020 Paper kit and Ephemera from Embellishment kit.

 

 

I’m so happy and too nervous to show my first project, I started my page with a beautiful polka dot paper, and rolled it on the two sides in a “V” shape. Then I took my most favorite paper among all. which is a Chevron pattern with a purple shade. I cleaved the bottom portion from pattern sheet and trimmed each Chevron separately. Then I thought that a rough look might go well with my layout, so I touched up my chevrons with a sewing machine. After that I arranged all the chevrons like an arrow. You”ll get a clear idea if you see the look of my finished project, haha! The amazing part about this project is that the awestruck colors in the paper aligns well with my friend’s saree . If you’re wondering what a saree is – its a traditional dress worn by the Indian women 🙂

 

 

 

This is the most interesting part, I thought of giving a cloudy watercolor look at the background. So I used some colors from the previous Hipkitclub kits. I’m certainly in love with all the cheerful colors that Hipkitclub brings. This August 2020 kit holds both summer and floral look.

 

 

 

 

After coloring, I began to layer some floral diecuts and tags behind the picture and also used some more fussy cut leaves and flowers from the pattern paper which is also from August 2020 kit. Finally! I finished my layout with the title Lovely. The floral border and a little splash of colors at the top added more beauty to my Layout.
