Hey Hip Kit Friends, this is Oxana and I have a new layout to share today. I have used the beautiful July kits which are packed full of the very beautiful and bright collections. You can find the July kits on the Hip Kit Club website here.
My product focus today are HKC Exclusive – Bring on the Sunshine – Ephemera and HKC Exclusive – Bring on the Sunshine – 3×3 Photopolymer Stamp Set from the July 2020 Main kit.

 

To create the background, I applied Lindys dry paints with a round brush. I used two shades: pink and purple. Next, dry it (I used Heat It Craft Tool by Ranger).  Using a palette knife, apply two shades of Nuvo paste – Orange Blush and Aqua Marine Embellishment Mousse through the Echo Park Paper – Summertime – Sunkissed Spots 6×6 Stencil stencil. Smear the paste a little, creating artistic strokes. I really love this paste and its incredibly beautiful shimmery effect. You can find these amazing stencil and mousses here, they are from July 2020 Color Kit. You can add some splashes during background fill.

 

Next, I positioned the photo on the left and placed the composition in a straight line from left to right. To do this, I have selected elements from HKC Exclusive – Bring on the Sunshine – Ephemera that are suitable for photography. They perfectly complement and support any summer water theme. In the photo, my beloved niece, she caught a fish for the first time and had a great time with her parents on a wild beach far from civilization.

 

 

Black and white elements, especially stamping, always complement any composition advantageously. So I stamped the camera, picture perfect, sunshine and today sentiments from HKC Exclusive – Bring on the Sunshine – 3×3 Photopolymer Stamp Set.

 

 

Use glue pads to create volume, and I also often use plain cardboard boxes for larger items. And the final touches remain: add splashes with the help of black gesso. For small splashes, use a thin brush; for bigger splashes, use a larger brush. To somehow support the stamped elements and add small accents, I drew the bubbles with a black archival pen. Layout is ready!
